Where we started
Josephine Antonelli is a local artist, born and raised in Ballarat. She trained in graphic design and drawing at Ballarat University before starting a successful homewares business alongside her brother Tony.
Antonelli Designs created handmade table placemats, painted and decorated by Josephine, which were sold within Australia and overseas for nearly twenty years.
After starting a family, Josephine also completed a TAFE course in pottery and ceramics.
Her latest venture sees a return to the use of collage whilst adding oil pastels and painting highlights. Her exquisite eye for colours is once again on display and each pot or painting becomes a unique work of interior art.
